Apostle Laban Nyachikanda: is an ordained apostle and Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Ministries International in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa.
He worked for the Mines of Zambia (ZCCM) for over twenty five years both in Zambia, Zimbabwe and lastly South Africa and rose to the positions of General Manager and Company Director. A lot of people remember him for his integrity and hard work while dispensing his duties in the company.
Lighthhouse Zambia is the affiliate church and was started in 1986 in pastor Laban and Dorothy’s home. It was birthed out of a hunger to know more about the Holy Spirit and experience His power and manifestation. Lighthouse Kitwe has yearly conferences at which Apostle Laban and Pastor Dee are regular speakers.
He is often referred to as one of the founding fathers of the charismatic movement that swept the country in the late seventies in Zambia that saw many young people swept into the kingdom of God and others into full time ministries. Laban’s faith and revelation has impacted many people both in the church and circular world to live a life of integrity and zeal for the Lord.
His burning desire is to see churches, cities, regions and whole nations completely transformed by the power of God. He flows in the prophetic and miracle healing anointing and releases great joy and desire to serve God everywhere he goes. He is an anointed teacher and preacher, always encouraging believers to live and move in the supernatural presence of God. He together with his wife Dorothy, fondly known as Pastor Dee were both ordained pastors in 1996, in South Africa and later on as Apostle and Prophetess respectively. They travel extensively touching many lives and emphasizing the need to live lives worthy of the calling of the Lord. They both minister in the power of the Holy Spirit with signs and wonders following to the glory of God.
They have four children Andrew, Ackim, Kathleen and Laban Jr. They are proud grand parents to Marley Grace and Macee Faith from their second eldest son Ackim and His wife Leslierose.
All the children love the Lord and are involved in ministry.
